A new CNN poll shows Barack Obama winning the compassion race:

In a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll out Tuesday afternoon, 55 percent of registered voters questioned say that Obama “cares more about people like you” than Sen. John McCain, with 35 percent saying McCain cares more than Obama. That 20-point margin for Obama is up from a 9-point advantage a month ago.

I highlighted that last part to show how fast John McCain is tanking and how badly he is doing with the focus on the economy. McCain’s only hope is that the economy makes a fast recovery – as in, tomorrow everyone wakes up and hears, “Hey, it was just a big joke!”
