Reinventing McCain
Yesterday marked the entry of a new candidate into the Presidential election – some guy named John McCain that says things that couldn’t possibly come out of John McCain’s mouth.
Suddenly, Mr. De-Regulation wants more regulation.
The man who knew little about economics (note that he depended for advice on Phil Gramm, the man who authored the bill that deregulated investment banks) suddenly understands that it was “reckless conduct, corruption, and unbridled greed” that caused all the problems.
The man who is ready to be President cannot, according to one of his own advisors, run a multinational company for profit.
And the man who can’t use “the email” somehow invented the Blackberry.
Ahhhh, I feel an anal migraine coming on…
