Yeah, that’s what Rev. Jeremiah Wright said. And it wouldn’t matter except one of his parishoners is running for President. And of all the possible issues, this seems the one most likely to do in Barack Obama. It seems that this is the sort of jackassery that was long feared in the [...]

Too much outrage, not enough sense - of humor or to just let something go if they don’t like it.
Everyone is entitled to whatever they want to think. But let’s not devolve into total hypocrisy here - I’m sure not a single one of my detractors have ever used the word “bitch” in other [...]

I have to give you the whole story:
Trying to embarrass Senator Barack Obama during this afternoon’s budget fight, Senator Wayne Allard, Republican of Colorado, offered an amendment that purported to total up all of Mr. Obama’s favored initiatives to the tune of $1.4 trillion, which would be added to the budget. In the “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished” Department, I’ll be retracting my statement made earlier today about Geraldine Ferraro not being racist. Compare her statement concerning Barack Obama:
“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman, he would not be in this position. He [...]

Geraldine Ferraro sticks by her guns - Barack Obama is nothing without his pigmentation. I think she may be the source of this transcript - or maybe just the questions. For the record, I don’t think Ferraro is a racist - but this is a stupid remark worthy of much scorn. But [...]

As it stands at this moment, Barack Obama holds a lead in the delegate count with 1,610, needing 415 delegates to lock up the nomination. Hillary Clinton has 1,481 - only 131 delegates behind.

Barack Obama has won the Mississippi primary. I’ll update the counter if the delegate distribution is announced soon or maybe tomorrow.
