A Christian Liberal is NOT an oxymoron.

I have to give you the whole story:

Trying to embarrass Senator Barack Obama during this afternoon’s budget fight, Senator Wayne Allard, Republican of Colorado, offered an amendment that purported to total up all of Mr. Obama’s favored initiatives to the tune of $1.4 trillion, which would be added to the budget. The message, of course, is that Mr. Obama is a big spender.

Given that it was a purely political amendment, senators were unanimously voting against it. As the time allowed for the vote
neared an end, Mr. Obama and his entourage, including fellow Democrats Richard J. Durbin of Illinois and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, strode in through the Senate door on the Democratic side. It was practically a swinging saloon door.

Mr. Obama marched to the well of the Senate to cast his vote and gave a hard glare over to the Republican side, looking for his target. “Hey Allard,” Mr. Obama was heard to shout at a level unusual for the Senate. “You working this hard?”

Somewhat sheepishly, Mr. Allard urged his colleague to vote for the plan but Mr. Obama declined, voting no. He and his colleagues then strode off. The amendment was defeated 97-0.

Who says Obama can’t play hardball? In Senatorial terms, he just got Allard’s ex-wife to admit that Obama is better in bed than Allard is in his fantasies.
