Split Texas
After a nice long nap, I wake up to the news that Hillary Clinton won the Texas primary but Barack Obama won the Texas caucus. I’ll be updating the delegate counter soon – the Republican delegate counter is being retired since John McCain locked it up. So his delegate count no longer matters.
The following delegate totals are accurate as of March 5:
Barack Obama: 1,451
Hillary Clinton: 1,365
By my count, that puts Obama 574 short of the nomination with Clinton 86 behind.
And there are all sorts of rumors.
