Late afternoon round-up
Here’s what happened today - or at least what people have said today:
- John McCain is leading in Florida - say good-bye to Rudy 9ui11iani
.
- The Wall Street Journal says that Hillary Clinton is giving Barack Obama an education in “campaign” and “truth”.
- Dennis Kucinich has finally stopped counting ballots in NH - but don’t look for him or his supporters to give up their conspiracy theories. Nope. He just ran out of money. So why is he still in the race? Comic relief, I guess.
- Finally, I’ve been a bit hesitant to watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report during the writers’ strike. Steven Colbert, at least, showed that he’s more effective as an on-air weapon as he turned his interview with Andrew Young last night into a morality play on the producers vs. the writers.
The best humor always shows us how far we have fallen from our ideal.
