For some reason, The Hotline is calling Paul Volker “Reagan’s Fed Chair“. They note that he was first appointed by Carter, but still call him “Reagan’s”. I’m a bit baffled by this. Take this explanation of Volker’s tenure as Fed Chair:

I missed the debate - teaching class - so lets figure out what has been said in my absence.
Here’s a recap from HuffPo.
Is there a market failure in medicine?

Republicans have a debate scheduled.
Don’t know who to support? [...]

“bipartisanship” is already rampant in Washington, not rare. And, in almost every significant case, what “bipartisanship” means in Washington is that enough Democrats join with all of the Republicans to endorse and enact into law Republican policies, with which most Democratic voters disagree. John Edwards will announce that he is dropping out of the Presidential race today. Don’t expect him to throw his support to Hillary Clinton.
